Might just be situational but except for one instance that I saw, all of his plays in the defensive zone seem to be stick only so far. And just a couple of minutes ago he was in the offensive zone along the left boards and looked to basically flinch and cough up the puck as contact was coming.
Dunno, probably just oversampling. I realize he's not out there to hit, but I was hoping to see a bit of Brodie-esque defense where he uses his skating to get in between the player and the puck.
