You are right. I just can't stand, can't stand the arrogance from some.

If it makes you feel better, I fully plan on shoving this up the backsides of my American friends at the bar later this afternoon.

I thought the point of having the game late was to have the Eiffel Tower all lit up? Though I guess that could be distracting...they better bling it up the second this ends haha.
Dang Canada down after leading the entire 1st set, close this out!
EDIT: Nevermind, I see it's turned on now. Tough break on that first set, feels like this one is going the distance

Sometimes I hate the TV aspect of sport...the biggest game of your beach volleyball career...and it's happening at 11:00 pm local time. Can't be easy to try and prepare and manage your energy when you have to plan your day to have peak energy output at 11:00 pm.

Canada in some trouble here...need to score 7 of the next 8 points. Good thing they've continually proven to be resilient
UPDATE: Brazil wins gold. Great effort by the Canadians, very deserving of a medal.

At least that's the only thing I saw similar to what you are mentioning

Yep, could have sworn I heard ‘unfair’ mentioned in the live american broadcast, but maybe that wasn’t said.

Silver in the end, great performance though. That Brazilian lady complained the entire game.

She was so annoying, wanted to see her sour losing face so bad. Too bad Canada couldn't close out that first set after a dominant start, may have been a blowout given how the 2nd set went. But very proud of their effort regardless.
Love how they got to the gold medal game in arguably the hottest venue of these Games, great job ladies!

I think you did. Lewis said it was unfair the blame the athletes. That the blame should go to US athletics, who treat it like an individual (not team) competition.
For example, instead of subbing the guy directly in for Lyles, they moved everybody around - so guys were running in unfamiliar positions within the team. Which is pretty stupid.
Anyway, that the way I heard it - but I may have heard it wrong

Fun match, Canadians did great and if they win that first set they probably take the match.
Don’t understand why it’s only to 15 pts in the 3rd set tho. Just make it 21

Really too bad. Gonna rue those missed chances to close out the 1st set. But gotta be happy overall considering where they were after pool play.

Totally agree, winning the first medal for Canada in your sport is a huge accomplishment.

What an unbelievable medal win by the men's 4x100m team. Loved seeing the women's team and then Donovan Baily being into every second.
Also Mark Lee was hilarious, he's never been a great pbp guy but he kept tearing into the American's post race, just brutal lol

What a way for a group of guys who had not had a good Olympics individually to cease that last chance. It's possibly the last major event that they'll run as a team and what a way to finish it off. It's the ultimate clutch performance by a veteran group.
