Wolf is very highly ranked on almost all lists I’ve seen. Like top 3, slightly behind Askarov who is pretty much the consensus #1.
To say that “Wolf wouldn’t return anywhere near what Askarov did” and therefore GMs feel differently seems weird, of course only in my opinion! Wolf hasn’t been and isn’t on the market.
I’m not the biggest believer in Wolf, but he would have a ton of trade value.
