It's still a slower pace than the 40 goals in 68 games he scored last year. Also, only 13 points in 17 GP in his D+2 year with a much better team than the Frontenacs.

That's cool he's playing C, but hopefully he finds another gear offensively this year.

I think we forget how low expectations were for him last year. Was last year an outlier or is this one? Or is it just not atypical uneven progression?

He was playing 3C in Flint for awhile, but he’s been moved up to the 2nd-line in recent games, and has been playing with Nathan Aspinall- who is near the top of the OHL scoring race.
