We have 1.87 expected goals against.

I am not a huge advanced stats guy. But sometimes your goalie needs to make saves he shouldn't.

But this also helps the tank, so it is fine.

Hopefully this is eye opening for Wolf and he sees how much work he’s gonna have to put in this summer.

Just saw that the Kraken lost again.

For the love of Pete, Flames...do not win this game.

I don't know how much of it is work on his fundamentals. I think he's fine.

What he is going to struggle with is his size. Statistically speaking, he is less tall than most goalies. But I'm more concerned about how small his equipment looks. It looks like he needs a summer of bulking up, or needs bigger equipment.

It's already difficult save when moving across the crease, but when you're lesser in stature every little bit you're drooping in your posture is more net for NHL calibre shooters to hit.

He seems to drop himself real low when trying to fight through screens, which is something he's going to have to work on.
I think small goalies can’t get away with being small.
I know there are a couple exceptions. And goalies are voodoo so I’d never say never. Still, 10% more net to hit is all an nhl shooter needs.

On a different note, the 2 Russian defence men continue to look awful. They are filler.
Coronato looks fantastic though.

It's hard to tank when they're letting in stuff like that.

Wanted to add he's playing in his 17th NHL game. People are treating this like's played a 100. It's a big jump and it's the perfect time for him to acclimate.

He's definitely seeing some 'welcome to the NHL' shots and situations though.

Okay, good effort, time to pull the goalie for the rest of the game.

For whatever reason, Wolf just doesn't look comfortable tonight. I've seen this from him every once in a while, and I can't figure out why. Just doesn't seem to move right or trust his talent.
