Sorry but unless you speak the language you don't know how it is pronounced.
I think the real reason Singh pronounces it like that is because Kadri is a name in his language and he uses that pronunciation and it's wrong.

There are over 8000 people with that name in India according to statistics. While that isn't that common in a population of that size. It is a name in India.

Flames two posts so far. Not sure why Millen is saying the Canucks are managing the third, Flames have had far better chances and outworking the Canucks.
There's certainly a Canucks spin vs the team not in the playoffs.
Singh misses the goal.

It's not a name in Punjabi and it's not the correct pronunciation for Kadri. It's just stupid and unexplainable.

I haven't had much bad to say about the Canucks this game, but their fans chanting "empty netter!" is just gross. Loser fans. I hope they never win anything.
