Howard is very good.
I would be happy with this trade.

I'd be happy with that return.
1st + recent 1st + depth pick?
That'd be a wonderful return. It's not what Boston paid for H. Lindholm, but if Brisson/Noah are being that difficult to work with then this is a pretty strong outcome.

So much misinformation these days. It's impossible to make hide nor hair of what's going on with the Flames. Are all teams the same, or is this uniquely a Flames experience?

Some of those guys will be older by then, young teams are starting to get better in that division (Buffalo, Detroit, Ottawa), and they are already only 5th in their division.
Time catches up to everyone.

Buffalo and Ottawa are getting better?

Huuhtanen has major skating issues, or at least he did in the past.

Why though? It says rumour, maybe it's true, maybe it isn't. I have no idea where Kypreos heard this but maybe he has it right.

Sure and so did Draisaitl. Skating can always be fixed by effort right? Out of all the negatives for a prospective player I think I put skating dead last. But I’m no expert

It's all done, except for **shudders** Flames ownership approval.
(I kid)

Skating is very important. Definitely not dead last.

Frank also said that Vancouver isn't looking at trading Lindholm and that Pittsburgh doesn't have any interest in Guentzel. He was essentially saying that Frank is the only one who knows anything or has heard anything.

Hasn't Seravalli gotten a lot right? Or at least been on the right track. Lindholm, Tanev and now this at least, not sure if there is other stuff.

This isn't Draisaitl or Tkachuk levels of bad.
Huutanen's skating is still really, really bad. He looks really top heavy when he skates, his stride looks awkward, and he's slow by FEL standards
How much you can re-teach a guy to skate at his age?

Come on, we’re talking about a player that is 15 years old right now. Likely 7-8 years until they’re making a positive impact for the Flames.
If that’s the best asset you can swing for a 26 year old top pairing defenseman I am not impressed.

Another player from Tampa that I would have interest in is Jack Thompson. 21 year old RHS D with 32 points in 46 games in the AHL this year.

Yeah, Frank - despite being correct fairly often, catches a lot of heat because he dumps on upper management and ownership here a decent amount (you know…stuff we all do on this forum).
Frank also seems to report more actual rumours than just the ones that come to fruition, which I appreciate. A lot of the other insiders only report stuff right before they break…which isn’t really a rumour, it’s just reporting the news first.
…he did just spend like 10 minutes on the Fan 960 singing Conroy’s praise for how well he’s handled a difficult first year as a GM.

I’m not saying Seravelli is wrong on this one but I just think it’s funny people believe him on this stuff and then got mad about the meddling owner stuff
