I agree, but just because those calls were wrong they should make the wrong call here too?

It's one of those 50/50 calls that goes both ways.

But when the Flames and the situation room are involved you 100% know which way that's going to go.

Incidental contact with a goalkeeper will be permitted, and resulting goals allowed, when such contact is initiated outside of the goal crease, provided the attacking player has made a reasonable effort to avoid such contact."
That's the beauty about rules. You can disagree with a rule, but it's still a rule.

The refs made the correct ruling.

at the start of the game didn't they show that the hawks have more salary currently on the IR than in the current line up?

That's not what I said. Just pointing out that we've seen much more clear calls that should have been an easy no goal get called as good. I have been watching hockey for over 40 years and I have no idea what the rules actually are anymore.

Well, ya. That's what I mean. All these people claiming 'Wideman Effect' need to just let it go. It's been done and dead for a long time.

The rules only apply here and there and they aren’t governed consistently in the NHL. That’s the problem. These guys are trash at their jobs and they haven’t earned any benefit of the doubt.

I doubt they are saying "get them over Wideman". But there no reason to think that incident couldn't have created negative feelings towards the Flames that will live beyond memory of the incident.

More accurately I just don't think the league cares about its second or third tier teams, so the Flames get the short end of the stick more often than not.

Forget other situations.

Look at the rule, look at that goal. It should not have and did not count. The refs did their job today.

Interested in seeing how Korchinski plays today. He's supposed to be a big part of the Hawks going forward.

Yeah, about $35.5 M on IR, about $32M on active roster.

That Sharangovich chance goes in off Lindy's skate they'd have found a distinct kicking motion.

Flames have been carrying play since the Blackwell goal.
