Truly a trash organization

You do know that McDavid didn't win a championship with the Erie Otters. It was the same in his junior career. Just pile up the points and individual trophies, to heck with the team.

Next up, Connor's grade 8 home economics teacher to be the Oilers nutritionist, as she taught him and the class how to make delicious stir fry, which he still makes every couple of weeks.

McDavid’s OHL coach and Paul Coffey… It’s like they’re intentionally trying to be a parody of themselves. You can’t make this stuff up!

It’s really both, Holland’s son in the mix too. Until he’s replaced by Mcdavid’s cousin.

If McDavid was half as intelligent as he is good at hockey he should realize that hiring people from his inner circle isn't exactly the most thorough and creative way to build a contender. Being pandered to may make you feel good but that's not exactly how winning organizations operate.

Why they (Lowe) brought Coffey in the first time (and after an incident with the kids that Coffey coaches in the GTL hockey I think), it was to be an assistant. That got shot down when the push back that he was never a coach anywhere, pressured Lowe, but he kept popping up around the Oilers, at Lowe's behest. McLellan had to hire him next.

Maybe Lowe is still lurking in the shadows.

I feel strongly that Kevin Lowe needs to take a more hands on approach to steady the ship.

The Oilers are going from 'the Old Boys Club' to 'the McDavid Boys Club'.
