I keep getting a blank advertisement. It doesn't show any sort of image and it doesn't have any sort of business name. It just says that it is down in the Lake Chaparral area. Whoever is serving up these ads is doing a horrible job.

Man, I'm getting the Epoch Times. I really don't want to have massive-sized ads splattering my mobile screen, especially for for far right extremist crap. There's enough of that from a few posters in the politics threads.
Do you guys at CP need a few bucks? I'll donate if you need it. Please don't resort to this ad strategy. It really ruins the experience.

I really hope this ends with Bingo getting the message that these are awful. I'm putting up with it now because photon has said it's a trial, but I'll absolutely limit my time here if bottom and full page pop up ads stay. It's just awful, like a low rent, sketchy website kind of awful.
CP is high earning, you could easily get a bunch of dudes to donate decent amounts in a funding drive. Especially if you make the drive with a public thread where they can humbly/low key brag that they donated. I mean that sincerely, btw. Give our higher income guys a place to speak about how they're donating their money and it will roll in at a much higher rate.

I’m not going to talk #### about Bingo but I wish he would address the negative reactions to the ads and the people saying they would willingly pay to remove them. I’ve never used an ad blocker on my phone but I will if this trial becomes permanent.

Echoing what many have said the ad at the bottom of the screen is annoying but manageable, it is the full screen ads that pop up and are too big for the screen so annoying to have to try and scroll to delete that should be gone no matter what.
I understand trying to get more revenue for the site and can't begrudge that but the easy solution seems to be to get rid of those ads that everyone agrees are awful.

The problem is that in all the time I've been here I don't think Bingo really reads or particaptes in anything outside of specific Flames threads on the main forum.
He ain't gonna be just reading and responding in this thread, for example. So either photon will have to explain the reaction (suboptimal) or photon will hopefully send him a link to the two threads discussing the ads so he can at least read them, and maybe even weigh in (optimal).
