Having watched the hilights and his interview where he mentioned that his wrister was one of his strong suits, I agree. It’s quick, explosive, not telegraphed so even if the goalie does make the save, a good chance a juicy rebound is available.
His clapper however seems awkward. At first I thought it was due to his mechanics but then there were two instances where he does a fake slapper and the motion was fluid.
Maybe it’s just a dying art and the new generations of hockey players put more time on quickness, precision and less on big windups.
Oh well I guess I miss the Macinnis’, Bourque’s, Iafrate’s and Gingras’ of this world!

It’s such a dying art, even though it’s literally going to be responsible for Gretzky’s goal record falling.
Hey idiots - get open, and wait to hit the puck as hard as you can.
It works.

I heard him on radio with Pat, and initially I thought some radio host talking about his skills. He talk very well.
Pelletier and Morin will be our motivators
I still have a hard time seeing how this guy dropped to #48. I guess that's just how deep this draft truly was. I was stoked about taking Rasmus Andersson at #53 in his year, i'm even slightly more excited about this pick.
Potential absolute home run here.

Great vid. I was thinking upside is Brodie until I saw those hits. Whoa.
The hits are great, but notice how short he has to go for them.
Guys just turn Around and run into him - he’s not exploding through them, he’s there before they are, because he’s reading the play so well. It looks like he can see the play develop 2-3 seconds beforehand, and this is noticeable in all three zones.
The composure, as well. Maybe the Q just isn’t a challenging enough league for him, but it’s evident this is a kid who doesn’t panic.
