Hard not to be excited about Jarome being around again. The dream of these guys joining forces and getting this team to the promised land -- it's almost too sweet to imagine. At the very least I think the fans can feel some positivity around the team again. Really hoping there's good times ahead with the franchise.

This is how you get a fan base to rally behind you. Not to undermine Huska and Conroy but mark my words this a TSN turning point for the Flames moving forward.
The Quest stands upon the edge of a knife. Stray but a little, and it will fail, to the ruin of all. Yet hope remains while the Company is true. Go Flames Go!
This actually comes as a bit of a surprise to me. As much as Iggy gave this organization over the years, it seemed like he and his family had settled on Boston as the place where they want to be. I really thought he'd be a lifetime Bruin after his retirement.

This is pure speculation because I dont know Iginla or anything, but his kids are all athletes.
The impression that I got, was that Iginla wanted his kids to compete and get Ivy League Scholarships so that they'd get excellent athletic training and opportunities as well as top-notch educations and if thats something you want, and something you think you can achieve....Boston is the place to do it.
Which makes a lot of sense, but again, I'm just guessing.

If you thought this season would have a happy ending, you haven't been paying attention.

Love the new individuals, but definitely feeling a little uncomfortably Oilers-old-boys-clubby over here...
The arrogant and entitled Oilers-old-boy-club won lots of cups and act as if more cups should just roll their way because they are so great.
This Flames group came literally as close as you can to touching the cup only to have it ripped away from them. This is their chance for a cup and they will do everything they can to finally hold it above their heads. I'm not worried at all.
