Maybe a couple more that I've bought/sold stuff from.
I had someone ask me if I was reading CP while I was sitting in our building’s lobby. We didn’t discuss usernames so I don’t know who it was.

I’ve met a bunch of people buying/selling stuff. I also met a few at a get-together for another forum.

Went to high school with jayswin, peter12. AC introduced me to this site. Worked with fotze in a previous life. Hmm… I think that might be it but I feel like I’m forgetting a few.

All I'm getting from this thread is that CP is supporting quite a few cottage industries with all the buy/sell stuff happening.

I think it's mostly tickets - for me anyway there's no way I can go to 40+ games per year...

If anyone else goes for beers with Peter12 we'd need a new subforum just for that.

I’m nowhere near troutman’s number, but it’s more than I initially thought.

I’m for sure missing some, but here is a partial list:
  1. troutman—we first met over a decade ago, and now are fishing buddies and good friends.
  2. Locke—he probably doesn’t remember but I met him at FATS in Kensington back when that existed, and had a beer or two (troutman was there too)
  3. Bownesian — a really old friend from Junior High.
  4. corporatejay - former co-worker and still a good friend.
  5. Thor - fellow Icelander, and I believe we met IRL when we were kids through the Icelandic community
  6. csnarpy - long time ago now but we played a few home poker games
  7. VladtheImpaler - also played poker at my house when I was still organizing that sort of thing.
  8. Philly06Cup—unless I’m mistaken we met in law school
  9. Slava - he taught me some fly fishing, I am teaching him some chess… turnabout is fair play
  10. GioforPM - he probably doesn’t know we’ve met, but we have. We travel in the same professional circles …

I’ve also bought game tickets from a handful of people, and as I said I’m sure I’ve missed someone. If that’s you, apologies.

I am the only one left from the Quad Cities days so my number is technically 0. The other QC guy that hung around a while was PIMking and we don't need to bring up that drama! Back when the baby Flames were in the QC, there was a solid group of us that participated in the prospects forum and since the hockey community was pretty small, most of us knew each other from games. So at that point was probably 5 to 10.

If any of you O&G folks have to come down to Oklahoma for any reason, I will happily buy you a beer. Maybe if nickerjones ever comes back home we can do a meetup of the CP Oklahoma chapter.
