Nobody I live and die for the Flames, for now I'm thinking about my upcoming vacation, watching what happens in the NHL draft, and management for the Flames, and focusing on baseball.

Are you going to follow any particular team this spring? Or take a break from Hockey for a bit?
NHL hockey is over until training camp starts.

The Wranglers and game 4 of the Edmonton series to see McHelmetRash stare into the abyss after the sweep.
Otherwise not much. NHL playoffs have suffered recently with the new officiating standards.
It's not the all out war it used to be.

Knights or Kraken would be nice to see get their first cup. But I'm hoping for the Wild. Always had a soft spot for them.

Seattle have been fun to watch all season long. Doubt they can hang around for looking but long but there could be a few memorable games.

Toronto would be annoying too but I’d happily take ten years of Toronto cups over one cup from Mcdavid in an Oiler shirt.
This bears repeating. Leafs coverage is mildly annoying, but I would happily take 10 straight Leafs cups vs one for Oilers.

I imagine it would be nothing but panelists and reporters bawling uncontrollably with happiness whenever Dear Leader is present. No PBP or analysis. Just bawling like babies.

Don't you think you should cheer for the Jets? They sorta gifted you an NHL team.

I'm going to stay neutral as long as possible. Try to enjoy some hockey for a change.

Other than hating the Oilers, I assume.

I never seem able to cheer on any American teams and wouldn't be able to handle the obnoxious media if Leafs/Oilers win. Guess that leaves the Jets to cheer for

With both my teams out I'll hope for a Canadian team to win (yes, including Edmonton) -- definitely sick of seeing big American cities who are just adding it to a list of their sports championships take it home, for people to celebrate for two weeks and then move on to the next big sport starting. A Stanley Cup in any Canadian city is a legend forever. Smaller market American teams with good fanbases that have never seen a win are okay too.
So in the East, only Toronto. In the West, Edmonton or Winnipeg, then either Minnesota or Seattle. I know Vegas hasn't won a Cup, but #### 'em.
Knowing how my interest usually correlates with what actually happens, all these team will go out in round 1 and we'll be left with all my least favorites in round 2.
