Man, Jets and Panthers in overtime was great, and it just shows how poor the Flames manage the OT. Both these teams careful with the puck and careful with keeping fresh guys on.... and a nice finish.

did you even watch it OT? It should have been over about 10 times before it was...Panthers missed a wide open net

Jets next two are in Tampa and in Carolina.
Flames next two are home to Ottawa and Arizona.
You would normally think this would bode well for the flames to make up 2, maybe even 4 points on WPG.
But this is not a normal season.

I mean I get the "nail in the coffin" feeling but the Jets weren't going to lose every game...they got badly outplayed by a non playoff team that played last night. They also lost their top dman.
Flames are most likely done but it certainly isn't because of this game.

I just want the Flames Vs WPG game at the end of the month, to be meaningful.
If flames can keep to within 4 points of jets before that game, I still think they have a legit shot.
They were dead and buried last Saturday night after the Minny loss and them being 7 points out. They then had a chance to be within 2 points six days later. As much as it’s popular to say “it’s over”, things can change very fast.
Time is running out obviously and the odds are heavily against them, but it’s not over.

Yes, yes I did. And I was struck by the effort, the puck management, and the awareness. That's not to say play was perfect, that's not to say there were no chances.
