I love Stone, but yeah, he's a number 7 defenseman that can step in in a bind and perform well relative to his role and look great for a few games. Stecher is a nice add because he's unquestionably an NHL regular and a pretty good one at that. I'm glad he pushes Stone back down into his proper slotting.

Lucic out and Duehr in would make a difference.
But yes overall entertaining game. It's all we really want play entertaining hockey and live with the results.

Seriously, what did Sutter see in Lucic at this point in his career? Yeah, Duehr isn't as good as his previous few games, but Lucic hasn't been good for months! He can't accept any pass and he always just flip the puck to nobody when he trying to pass. Want him to be the net present? By the time he gets to the net, the puck is out of the zone.

Dube was fine he had go from wing to C in a pinch to allow Sutter to make the changes and went from top line to 4th line duty with Lucic and Lewis any struggles would be expected with a significant drop off in linemates and playing a harder position.
Take the win and hope Lucic doesn't drag the line down again.
