Agreed, it very clearly isn't working. Kadri and Huberdeau are pretty brutal together. It just ain't working at all.

Calgary is only 1 point out of being in a top 10 draft spot. 5 out of the playoffs. Season could go either way at this point.

Nashville, a team that has sold 4 key players and received a ton of assets, is now 7 games above .500, while the Flames are only 5 games above .500, while having more games played.

And so concludes the long winter of our discontent.
Not with a roar, but with a whimper.

Flames played great until they got the powerplays. Powerkill came out and did it’s job then it was all Leafs until they decided to sit on the lead.

Sell and tank for Bedard
Treliving should know his prized summer acquisition has already quit some time ago
Dude looks absolutely useless out there…

Didn't they just extend him for three more years? We might be stuck with him a bit longer.

So what you're saying is the coach is squeezing the most out of this team. But the only GM in the league who hasn't made any moves this year, who sat back and watch everything unfold and did nothing... Needs to go out and get complimentary players. I agree with you but I wouldn't hold your breath.

I didn't watch the game but game winning goal and season ending final dagger from a guy we completely rejected is so fitting for this season.

Seeing the Lucic line out there with less than 10 mins left in a one goal game is a head scratcher.
Gilbert was dummied by Marner at least four times tonight. If Sutter has the last change, how is Gilbert out there so often while Marner is on the ice...?
Sutter with the late goalie pull, nor did he use the time-out
This is yet another loss that Sutter is responsible for.

He has been fairly mediocre. Hard to say this team is in a better spot looking forward now than when he came here in 2014.

Looking at the replay, terrible call on the winning goal, was knocked out of Markstrom’s glove.

Maybe he is low key trying to tank. Not a bad idea at this point.
