Lucic as a depth piece in the playoffs isn’t horrible if cap hit isn’t a concern .

If a series turns ugly having a nuclear deterrent is good

It’s not like a 5th or 6th round pick is worth much. However you need a team with cap room or willing to go through a double retention which just might not be worth their effort

But unless it turns ugly he is a liability and even if benched he's taking up a spot that a mroe useful guy (say Lewis) could fill.
