Well, sure, because the only other way that would happen is if the Flames were good, and we have already ruled that out. The Flames are bad by definition, so anyone they beat must be unspeakably awful.

Markstrom made some big save a at big times to keep it 3-3 and 4-3 lead.

Hopefully the scoring gets them scoring more going forward.

I have to say as someone who didn't really bother to check ahead to see when the Flames were playing next for the most part this year the last couple games have been a lot better especially in terms of entertainment value. Not sure exactly what's happened but it's definitely encouraging.

If the Flames can sweep this road trip and go into the break on a 4 game win streak that would be the best Christmas gift.

3 goals that is were entirely not his fault. He made huge saves tonight. If the Flames play this system right he gets a bunch of shut outs just like last year.

I think the league is moving away from save % and more towards the big save at big times to tilt the game.

Scoring is up seems like every team is giving up 3 goals a game.

I was speaking of his average on the season. he's had .900 games recently. but we're waiting on the season numbers to eclipse that mark. and im saying i hope it happens, im rooting for the man. it's not a dig on his game tonight. its an observation on his body of work on the whole
