By his standards, Lucic had an OK night, but he still was among the worst on the team in xGF%. Had a few shots on goal, though, which was good to see. But it really feels like he's never going to score again.

Not really any drags overall ...

They gotta figure out Huberdeau at some point.

Such a good point. Let's not forget who beat Sutter's 2013 Kings...

Agreed on your first point. Vladar for sure did his job, which hasn't been the case with Markstrom.

Again
They played another good game
Hopefully these type of efforts become the norm
I also think they looked a tad more confident with who they were playing in front of also. Less hesitant. Assertiveness can wear opponents down.
Lots of good signs the last couple of games

Did anyone else find it a bit funny that the commentators kept going off about Washington not speaking to their video guy, or even looking at their monitors to decide about an offside challenge on the Ruzicka goal? The play happened at the blue line about 10 feet in front of the Washington bench and HNIC was acting like it was some sort of close call that they later "confirmed" was correct by looking at the tape. Here’s a helpful hint - not a single Capitol even complained because they could see what happened right in front of their eyes.

Put Markstrom in, and we are probably trailing when Keumper leaves the game, and suddenly those rush chances leading to goals 3,4 do not happen due to the opponent going into a 1-3-1
Ridiculous take.
You are just making stuff up that could have happened.

Huberdeau's disappointing play is the biggest reason why this team isn't doing better. I hate to think of 8 more years at a $10.5 million cap hit if he doesn't figure it out.

That was a good win and much needed. That said, I just don't find the Flames very interesting to watch this year. There isn't much excitement or entertainment to their game since Johnny and Tkachuk departed, especially Johnny. It makes it much harder for me to care what happens to them.

I guess kuemper doesn’t ‘love’ playing the flames as advertised. Can we put that narrative to bed now?

I even felt bad for van fans when they were struggling

I would not feel bad for oiler fans if they sucked for a century

their dumb luck fortune from 2010-2015 and pompous attitude since has erased any possibility of sympathy i could ever have for that city and team
