How much time should top-line Toffoli be given to connect?

I've been pleasantly surprised with Lucic's play thus far this season. He has far exceeded what I thought he would bring to the table at this point in his career and especially his skating is far better than I expected. Don't write him off just yet!

Agreed. And I am curious to see what he could do with better linemates. The guy can carry the puck up ice, and is a monster on the forecheck.

He's been just fine in his current role, but I have big reservations that he is capable of doing what he's been doing at a higher rate of speed and against more talented lines more often than not.

I guess you might as well try it out.
