I'm sure this won't make the Canucks feel any better, but by my count there were 5 teams that gave up multi-goal leads and lost tonight.

EDIT: Oh and the Senators gave up a 3 goal lead, but they managed to win.

Sabres continuing on solid team play they had in the last third of last season. Definitely encouraging! Leaned a little hard on the goalie in the third there but the important thing is a goalie finally stepped up for us. Big road win!

Calgary on Thursday will be a tough test, Flames are living up to the hype so far.

After what they have faced over the last few years, it is good to finally see that franchise have a good start. The future looks bright

Very early of course. I remember a few years back, Skinner’s first with with team, they got red hot and were in first place in the league at American Thanksgiving. Missed the playoffs.

This is a whole different group now that I like a lot more and feel a lot better about though.

Draisaitl is one of the biggest deuchebags in the league

Last game when he shoved Weegar after the Oilers scored, I was a little disappointed Weegar didn't cross check him in the face.

Yeah what was up with that? He has to be one of the most unlikeable players I can remember. Good to see him struggling.

You're not kidding about the 3rd period, the shots were 23-5 for the Oilers which was half of their entire shots in the game. Comrie was a stud in net making 46 saves! It also was a perfect PK at 3/3 which helped the Sabres in the win. I didn't realize that Comrie is Mike Comrie's younger half brother. https://www.cbc.ca/sports/hockey/nhl...t-18-1.6620945
