Liking the fact that both the Devils and Avs go for the Rockies color theme. San Jose looks sharp too.
The Devils more closely apes its KC Scouts lineage.

Calgary’s is similar but not exactly the same as the other “prediction” that was posted earlier.

I will say that a number of those designs look pretty good. Calgary’s is not one of them.

It definitely looks better without the white collar from the original predictions, and the extra white down the sleeves helps match the white C. I think it's cool.

If the Avalanche go with that predicted look, I don't see the "reverse" part of it. It seems like a pretty bang-on replica. Striping a little higher but that's it.

As was the Hurricanes' Hartford homage.

That's why the Flames should've gone with the 1972 Atlanta. Precedence was there.

I hope that if the NHL continues the reverse retros that the Blues pull these ones out at some point:

^^^ Haha. That Blues one is just something else. Didn't Keenan refuse to let his players even wear it? It's still not as bad the Ducks one with the cartoon duck busting out of the ice.

I am not a big fan of the Flames one. I actually like the colour combinations and think it will look better in action than just the picture. Not a fan of the pedestal though. It just looks out of place and harkens back to an era that I would mostly rather forget.

Man, if feels like the Carolina Hurricanes have been making slight variations of two jersey designs every two years since they moved there.

How dare you speak poorly of the Wild Wing jersey.

It’s glorious

The Whalicane Reverse Retro had a grey body rather than white, so that's the "reverse" they did on it.

Maybe the Rockalanche one will be similar, where it's not fully white.

Those predictions are not likely 100% accurate. For example, based on the leaks, the Habs' jersey is going to be a lot lighter blue, similar to the old Expos' road uniforms, than what's shown in the prediction.

I’d rather something a little outside the box for the reverse retro.

But they should have worn an Atlanta Flames jersey (against the Islanders) in a game to commemorate the 50th anniversary.

Kind of embarrassing that Scorp had to start the Twitter campaign just to get them to even acknowledge it and then wear a jersey in warmup.

Really it should have been an NHL thing. Flames should have opened the season against the Islanders at UBS Arena. Flames in Atlanta jerseys, Islanders in throwbacks and commemorated the 50th anniversary of both franchises first game.

Man, I've just never been a fan of the baby/light blue trend in pro sports jerseys. They all look kind of minor league to me.

Except Atlanta for some reason. I loved that one.

If not for the Tampa Bay one, the Flames might have had the worst of the bunch.

As a 90's terrible jersey fan, I think those are the two best ones. Islanders fisherman a close 3rd. HM to the Bruins.

The Avs, Wild and Sharks are pretty nice.
Ours are terrible, but somehow not even close to the worst

The Blues look a lot like the Kings on first viewing.

I am for nostalgia than most people. But you need to put out some new designs too every once in a while or you run out of things to be nostalgic for. Honestly there are worse things than coming out with a crappy design. Nothing wrong with some occasional variety and see which one stand the rest of time.
