This thread reads like posts from a retirement home… yes we get it, the music nowadays is nothing compared to that in the “old days”… everyone is probably sounding like their old man here.
They literally picked a song that was arguably the biggest song of 2021. Isn’t that what parodies are supposed to be?
Song may not be my cup of tea but I don’t understand the negativity people have for stuff like this. I enjoy their creativity and it is sad when creators get beat up over something like this. I think we need more younger Flames fans and stuff like this serves its purpose.
Guess it’s expected on a message board where I doubt anyone on here is younger than the age of 40. lol

i really appreciate the effort people are putting into making these but you definitely won't find any of these recent songs on my playlist.
In the dome seemed to just happen naturally and everything that followed seems so forced.
If I'm being honest, even In the Dome was campy and cheesy, its the nature of all parody songs. But that's what what this is supposed to be, just campy fun and getting excited about the playoffs. The songs in this thread so far are no different, and it's just sad a bunch of boomers discredit it just because it's not up to their parody song standards.

Respect to the person that put it together, more musical talent than I'll ever have, but I'm pretty sure a dislike of boy/girl bands & their crappy manufacturered pop music crosses generations.
I quite like the We Lit one. Has a bit of a Childish Gambino flavour to it.
The I See Red one is good too - a bit more traditional Calgary fare, I'd say.
But the clear winner is undoubtedly the Baby Shark parody. I will be playing that one for my nearly-two-year-old daughter tomorrow in the hope it manages to displace the original as her favourite song.
