Very insightful with that one pre-game interview.

He can't spill everything in an interview like this. He still has to negotiate a contract.
Never said I was worried. Just said it raised my eyebrows a bit. I found the omission of something like that line noticeable.

Don’t think it means a ton in the grand scheme of things.

Sure, but you'll sleep a bit better. You implied it. But not worth any more comments about it, as you said, not really a big deal.

This team's depth is coming alive and chemistry is finally forming in the bottom 9.

Didn't even feel like we leaned on the top line much at all tonight, even though they chipped in.

And Kylington is back to being a monster at both ends.

Makes this team a force to be reckoned with. There's really no other way to put it.

I really like our chances to go on a run, but more so given that we get the first 2 potential match ups against the weakest playoff teams in either conference.

If we were a central division team needless to say our path would be a lot more daunting.

Hopefully the stars are finally aligning for this team and organization. It's been a long time coming.

The guy gushed about Calgary, how accepting the city was of him, his family, his new wife. It's been his home from nine years, how it's a special place for him and his family. But you guys didn't hear a specific line you were hoping for and it's downer time.

They tried to do a contract last summer, didn't happen. Said he didn't want a contract to be a distraction during the season, and he's stuck by that.

I don't think it should even be close.
lindholm should have the selke wrapped up.
If anything it should be between lindholm and barkov.

Jeff mareks the worst for it, talks about how it's the Bergeron award and then goes off about how you have to lose the award a few times before you can win it.

Great game. Saddledome was absolutely electric tonight. I’ve never seen so much money being given away in prizes, jerseys and other free stuff. Exciting times!

It was fan appreciation night. Have you been in other years and was it different?

I can't see him leaving all his friends and the best line in hockey behind, and his wife has been settling in here and schooling in calgary from what I heard. Guy loves the city and refuses to leave. Don't see anything that signals an appetite to be anywhere else.

If he can get an 8th year and the Flames are in the same ballpark for the AAV I just don't see an eastern team swaying him enough to go, just because of proximity to home. And I think Philly and NJ being poor teams is a bit of a deterrent as well, when you can keep the band together and get another kick at the can with Sutter next year too.

Hopefully Johnny will value franchise records.

Can’t take down Iggy’s marks if you switch teams!

It took some time, but Dube is finally getting it and looking like the player he was in the 2020 playoffs of late.

Hopefully Johnny gets 40 next game and a couple more points for Tanev.

Nice to finish off the Canucks season.

15 goals for 300...a tall order, but..

5 goals to pass 18-19, into top spot for the post early 90s teams
