The guy that started it was sitting right in front of me in 211. Definitely not cool.

Flames clinch the division before any other team in the division qualifies for the playoffs.

Read this in Donald Trump voice, works fantastic

It's a real thing. Teams tend to request getting alberta out of the way with a back to back, and calgary is usually the 2nd team getting the softened opponent.

I recall our team made a stink about this ( probably just our media). The next season this was fixed but it was temporary apparently. I hope I'm remembering this right. It was a while ago

Was a great game to go to. Flames a little slow off the start, but was awesome to see Chucky get 40/100. He was so excited, so was his teammates.

The too many men penalties can end anytime.

Thought Backlund had a bad first period but got better as the game went on.

Wasn’t happy about the goal that Hanafin and Anderson got out-hussled, but in the end we got the W

And won out way into the division title (as opposed to winning by another team losing).

I cannot stop laughing at this line from the ATL:

Last 4 games are basically meaningless now. Hopefully Sutter will rest some of the guys who might need it. I'm guessing Markstrom will still start at least 2 of these games just to keep him fresh for round 1.

List of teams that have 4 35+ goal scorers:
The Flames.

That's it, that's the list.
Tops that dumb Oilers "we have 3 35 point defensemen" tweet.

If you're talking game six, that was Walkom and McCreary.

Coaching matters.

This division title is on Sutter. I never want to see this franchise go through a span of gulutzan-peters-ward ever again.

I know D Sutters don't grow on trees but we had multiple chances to make offers to guys like Boudreau and Gallant.

Super happy for the boys they bought in and put in the effort. I truly believe this team has the potential to go to at least a Western Conference Final and who knows what happens from there.

Go Flames Go.

Why are we getting scores wrong in the PGT titles this year?
