Avs completely dominate the first 5 minutes of the period...Oilers score. Just how things have gone lately for the Oil. For some reason the hockey gods just love these clowns.

Avs are just unlucky at this point. They've outplayed the Oilers by a significant margin in this period so far. If only they had converted on a couple of those posts in the 1st.

This game has little to no real implications, just want Oilers to lose. Avs losing isn't terrible either though really ��#♂️

Looking like there's a decent chance the first round could end up with the Oilers against Vegas. That could be a very entertaining series if it happens.

That said, the Oilers have gone on a run like this before at the start of the season. Building momentum by beating up on bad teams and continuing on to beat some good teams.

HDCF% is 80% in favour of the Oilers. They're limiting the Avs chances while getting a ton themselves.

Luckily this is a team that is just as capable of losing the last 10 in a row. Just need a bounce to go the wrong way and they'll collapse like the house of cards that they are.

Just as Vegas is starting to heat up as well. And if they get some healthy bodies back, I think they'd give the Oilers fits.
