Sure could use Roberts and Nieuwendyk in their primes.

Stockton smoking the Barracuda 6-1 in the third period.

Phillips and Tuulola each with two, Zary and Gawdin.

Whoever is doing colour has the greatest dollar per word ratio in the industry.

Flames dominating.

Just need to translate this into some goals.

Yeah lots of reasons for it ... mediocre teams with no center depth probably the biggest.

One of the reasons I like Lindholm so much is he brings the same intensity game after game. He's a hell of a hard worker.

Something I just realized: Ritchie has 2 goals this season and both were in games where he was expected to be a healthy scratch and ended up being a late addition to the roster.

So, apparently the secret is to never tell him he's going to play.

7-1 Final for the Heat. Ruzicka scores with 15 seconds left in the game.

Speaking of the broadcast crew….I was pretty down on Singh early in the year, thought his play by play was poor. He’s still not amazing tonight (Ball), but night and day from earlier in the year. I’m enjoying the broadcast tonight.

This game has turned into a real snooze fest. Flames are still carrying the play and dominating the shot clock, but they're not generating much in terms of grade A scoring chances.
