I used to be hard on Gaudreau early in his tenure (turnovers), now I sport my Gaudreau jersey and hope very strongly that they are able to re-sign him long term. He stirs the drink.

That team scored more goals than any other team that didn’t have either Gretzky or Orr on it- they basically scored at will

This place is quiet tonight. I'll drink another one to see if anyone shows up though.

First live Flames game for me since 2015 playoffs, and the first live Flames game for my son ever. Had a blast, sure glad the Flames picked it up after that very disjointed 1st period.
Johnny is unreal. Just electric, makes something good happen every time he's out there.
Coleman and Jarnkrok had ton of chances, they looked good just snake bitten.
Dube was working hard, noticeable in a good way all night.
Love loooch, but man...he is right cooked. Like a complete tire fire with the puck. You really have to wonder if he comes back for another year. The fans love him clearly, but he just doesn't have it anymore.
The 4th line was not very good IMO, not sure what the fancy stats say but I wasn't impressed. A lot of that was Lucic though. Hopefully the addition of Carpenter will help, but man I think Pelletier could be a 4th line buzzsaw kind of like Mangiapane was in 2018/19.
Pelletier - Carpenter - Lewis/Ritchie
I doubt we see that happen though. They'll probably leave him down for hopefully a long playoff run with the top team in the AHL.

Objection! They are different gifs (unless you've created both of them, of course, which seems plausible):
P.S. I could be mistaken, of course, but wasn't this StrkerSteve's gif long ago?

New career high in points for Tkachuck. He's not fleet of foot, but skill and hockey sense on him are top notch. It's enjoyable to watch him and Johnny work together.

You think Pelletier is 4th line material? I honestly see him being a Mangiapane replacement. I doubt the Flames can afford him along with Chucky and JG next season.

Nah I posted it first then next game he F5'd this forum like a madman and posted it. Then got angry he had to put it in NSFW tags I think and never came back?
His dress up version was pretty damn funny, and disturbing.

Don't split up this line again. No need to try to spread the offence when you get this much from one line.

Yes, for now. He has non stop motor and plays strong defensively. Mangiapane was a 4th liner when he first broke into the league too.
Doesn't matter though. It won't happen, not unless there are tons of injuries.

That's it. He had a gif posted with his wife in it and all of the predictable consequences and stupid comments ensuing thereafter. I miss StrykerSteve; good poster, great Flames' fan.
