Playoffs are going to be special this year.

I'm getting worried the cracks are starting to show and they won't be able to sustain the level they are currently on. If they lose against Winnipeg, it could very well set off a very long losing streak which might result in missing the playoffs and then the new arena won't be built and the team will move.

A win is a win. Not their best game of the home stand but they found a way.

Coleman was a ball of hate all night. He was going after everyone and getting under the Kraken’s skin.

The play at the end of the game was weird. Did not like Gio’s cross check to the back of Tkachuk’s neck. Gudbranson and Gio were shouting at each other, must have been more going on. I still love Gio’s competitiveness.

The Kraken were surprisingly hard working. Surprised they haven’t won a few more games but this was probably Grubrauer’s best game of the season.

Lindholm is now at a point per game on the season. Tkachuk and Johnny over.

Perhaps a Selke really is possible.

The win over Giordano and the Kraken shows how far the Flames have come without their former captain.

Closure for the fans, too.

I just watched that end scrum like 15 times to figure out what happened. Puck is in Backlunds feet, Gio gives Backlund a high hit forearm/elbow shot to the head, Tkachuk comes in and gets tripped and knocked down by Gio. Gio first punches then drops a crosscheck on Tkachuk, gets up and sucker punches Backlund in the head.

Jarnkrok saw Backs get punched and obviously had concern.

Gudbranson saw the sucker punch from the bench and starts losing his #### screaming something at Gio. Gio turns away and Gudbranson smashes his stick against the boards to get his attention back still screaming.

Mangiapane, Coleman and Tkachuk yapping at Giordano as he skates by the bench. Could read Tkachuks lips, saying, "what up man?"

Seriously fork Giordano, let's get Jarnkrok.

Some great looks at the goals and Marky's double pad stack.

I can only imagine that this was an important game for Gio that he probably really wanted to win. Can’t hate the guy, his passion is what made him.
