The side effect of being a 2020s founded team, they don't have any history of BB code message boards like us old fanbases relied on since the 2000s.

All these I recognize from r/seattlekraken pretty much and Reddit is a lot more chatty

Bit fortunate for the Flames to have come away with a victory on this one IMO. Seattle hit that post and had a couple other great chances whereas Chris Dreidger did his best to lose his team the game. He struggled positionally all game long. Thought Gio and Johnny were the 2 best skaters on the ice today. Can't believe Gio still has it in him to take a game over at his age. He's gonna be good for another long while. I think his competitiveness and hockey IQ will keep him from falling off a cliff completely.

Lucic is a beast.

Lucic for Neal. Crazy.

The flames are going to have 20 in a row at home at the end of the year.

If my count is correct, by the end of this trip, they will have played 22 road games and 11 home games.

No idea how we are going to manage 11m a year for Johnny…

Same thoughts here. I think we throw the C on that man for the rest of this year. He is playing like he did 6 years ago.

Spoiler!

That was a fun game to watch! At least nobody can say the Flames aren't exciting. Good to see Gio have a good game, even better the Flames won. Rough night for Markstrom. Johnny was dynamite all night. Wicked snipe on his 2nd goal.

I feel like we watched different games. While Seattle had some chances not converted, so did the Flames. In fact, I'd argue Calgary had more of them. A couple of the goals on Dreidger were a bit stinky, but the Flames flubbed a couple good chances too

I like the new lines. Dube seems to be better at center.

Still would like to see Pelletier in for Pitlick at some point. Think that would add a bit more firepower.

But can’t complain

Flames: Mony

Top + skaters

They almost outshot them 2-1 and to be honest had a shakey start.

Maybe a change of scenery was good for him too.

I thought Flames carried the play no doubt but it did seem Seattle looked dangerous when they had their chances and zone time.

I do think it's a game where it could have gone the other way but Flames showed some nice finish.

Wasn't pretty, but it was a win. Tighten things up and head back east for another road trip. Flames will have played more games in the eastern time zone than their own. Crazy season.
