I have no clue who Ann Wilson is, my brain auto fills it to Anne Murray
Just the lead singer of a little band called Heart?
Spoiler!

Ann Wilson singing Stairway to heaven brought Led Zeppelin and the Obama's to tears. Check YouTube in the intermission.

Okay, I just heard about Seattle's banner-raising ceremony they're doing in their 2nd game and I now want them to lose every game for the remainder of the season. Good lord that's embarrassing.
To be fair very few fans knew they were cup winners but they are etched on the cup.
I see no problem with a banner, The Habs(1916) Leafs(1918) are hanging from their barns and they're not exactly the same franchises now days either. If Seattles team were called the Metropolitans and not Kraken would you be ok with it?
Crazy history, former Alcatraz inmate Bernie Morris scored 14 of the 23 goals against Montreal in the 4 game 1917 finals, Montreal only scored 11 in the whole series.
I'm only in my 20s and maybe I just care too much about music history but I can't believe so many people haven't heard of Heart. Only one of the most influential rock acts of the 70s and the Wilson sisters were groundbreaking pioneers of women in rock. Rock & roll hall of famers too.

NHL really screwed up IMO with keeping the home opener for Seattle until tonight. Really lost its feel.
You go tell the Seattle fans who are the most electric crowd I've heard over a TV in a long time how they need to tone it down cause it's lost its feel.

It wasn't even an NHL championship...again, want a banner? Win one
