He will get more games to see if he can round out, but if he doesn't get better I'd gladly move Valimaki up with Tanev and bring Kylington in to play with Gudbranson. Heck maybe Kyling to with Tanev since Valimaki and Gudbranson look okay together.

The problem is not really Zadorov and Gudbranson
They are what they are, bottom pairing/ spared dmen
Problem is we have no dman that can skate, good at transition and create chances
Andersson is bad as top offensive dman and there is nothing after him

Sigh. Seems like the skeptics had this team pegged.
Sad to see Johnny play such a great game and then get hung out to dry on the winner.
That PP at the end of the third was so weird, and a microcosm of the game. Total control of the puck but no real threat. Close but Gibson had all the answers.
I’m really not excited about Markstrom.

Wrong results for the wright result, time? Jks but we won’t even be that bad. We probably pick 12 th to 14th again. That geekie kid would be a good pick up but big centre’s with talent go early. We won’t be that bad. But I have been wrong about this team often so why not about that?

Over Benny. I would have traded tachuck first. We would have got a better package and will now have to pony up nine million plus for that guy. He’s so slow. He’s not a game breaker. He’s a good top six player for sure but not elite anywhere and hasn’t gotten any faster by the looks of it. I have tachuck envy.

It’s too early for panic but I understand the frustration. The Flames aren’t playing a low scoring style, they’re just not finishing. Unfortunately that’s likely to be a recurring theme but I still see us picking up some ins in a row here.
Zadorov’s giveaways though. That has to stop although the Monahan Hanifin clown show in OT was no better.
