Do they still have the fishing pond there? Nothing better then putting a big ball of bread dough on a hook tied to a bamboo pole!

Oh, also, have you guys been in the Haunted House in the last five years? It's redone as well to be more like a haunted hotel. It's fun and waaaaaaaaaaaaay better than it used to be.
Of course, the best part will always be wandering around there with a bucket of popcorn watching tattooed white trash moms yelling at their kids.

I love going to Calaway. They come off like complete jackasses in this video, but the park is super fun. My wife and I used to love going a couple hours before close and ripping through all the new rides after kids went home for dinner. I'll be bringing my kids when they're a couple years older.

Know what's weirdly more fun than it should be once your kids are a little older? Camp overnight at the Calaway campground. Then, get to the park 10 minutes before opening. They do this little countdown thing at the gate before opening the doors and then all the kids go busting in and get to be first on whatever ride they want. It's totally fun and an easy parenting win.

Maybe the rollercoaster is old, but does it really matter? There are always new kids coming up to enjoy it. The redone logjam is great, too.

It is a perfectly acceptable local themepark for children.

Spetch and Surferguy may remember(or be trying to forget) that time we had a rez cabaret and got proper pickled, then the next day taking a school bus to Calaway. One of them may have let something loose after a particularly whirly ride on the strawberries.

You almost certainly could hit every attraction at Callaway for a single admission, which is not happening at a 200 ride park. He's completely missing the diminishing returns that come with upscaling attractions. And further to that a portion of the money you pay to attend a theme park is partially about novelty and experience of a day out with the family, hard to quantify that by counting rides.
The lesson here is don't play stupid games that stupid people start.

You completely overlook the PT Burnum ratio though, DR/SR>1/4 which posits that for every decent ride there must be 5 poorly maintained piece o'crap rides that only your wussy moron friend wants to go on, ergo in practice 40 rides in a park means at best 5 to 10 worth lining up for, 200=maybe 20
