If Ritchie is playing in the top 6 (or in the top 9, really), then it is either because Treliving failed to acquire decent depth, or because this team is going through some serious injuries
Ritchie on the 4th line is a good add. Plays hard every shift, he is impressive on the forecheck, plays the body hard often, and can actually help stick up for teammates. That's all useful. If Treliving manages to acquire better players, then hey, he will be doing all of that stuff in Stockton, and you won't see a cent of it against the cap.
I really don't see anything to complain about.
