The Flames lack a #1C and #1D - two pieces a team almost always has to draft. Shuffling around assets to land a #1RW is just rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic.

TBF, Sutter did insert young guys for auditions like a team out of it would. They still got a W. I'm chalking that up to Ottawa being gassed on the end of a b2b.
I am curious now, I'm not sure Sutter was being sarcastic when he said it two days ago but I belive Freeway asked if Domingue would see a game to finish the season and Sutter bluntly replied : "Marky gets Ottawa and Domingue gets the last 4"
So if Domingue gets the last 4 then we know the tank is full on.
But Vancouver will likely be on a tank mission themselves. Want a chance at Jobnson (B.C boy) or Hughes (little brother to Quinn).
