That argument might have credibility if they were losing games 5-4 every night, but they’re not. They’re losing 2-1 and 3-1.
Hardly a goaltending problem. But hey, that’s just my take.

I didn’t see the team deflate. They continued to press.

McDavid taken down by Nordstroms neck when it hit McDavid hands. Flames got away with one

Be honest with ourselves. Only Neal’s blazing speed and lightning reflexes made that goal possible.

Good period. Dube is struggling IMO. Beauty feed by Chucky to Lindy. Baaad baaaad goal. Any goal James Neal scores on you is a soft goal. Not debatable lmao. That's how bad Neal is.
I'm digging Nesterovs nastiness so far. He's planted the golden child and another.

The guy said it was worse than any goal given up this year by a non flames goalie
It's not even in the top 100
And no matter what the goalie does it's also bad D

Just cause some make a comment on a bad goal doesn't mean anyone is hating on or throwing Markstrom under the bus. It was a bad goal. End of story as far as I'm concerned. He's a good goalie, I'm sure of it, but hasn't been that great this year. He'll be a Flame for a long time yet to prove otherwise.

It was also a McPenalty too leading up to that. But you're not supposed to call penalties on him. He can hold as much as he wants.

I was thinking who he reminds of when he skates........I think it's Chris Dingman. Maybe not as bad as Dingman, but not far off.

No kidding, the other goalie has the Flames shooting on them it's not like it's a fair battle.
What big save has Smith made?

Again, he said it was worse than any goal this season by a non Flames goalie (Bennett on Brossoit? Drai on Hodgeberg?)
Stupid takes like that should be called out

That is the problem with the team, they need elite goaltending to have a chance. Markstrom looked like it before his injury. Can't count on the forwards to get much more than 2 goals per game it seems.
