Yeah any Oiler fan who ever complains about reffing needs a swift punch to the throat. The treatment Mcdrai get is second to none. And it’s not even close.

Well, presumably Monahan contributed to Mangiapane and Dube getting shots, and he had one deflected at the last second. And that line had a fair bit of o-zone time. But the other 3 guys? I can’t remember a play to the net at all from any of them.

Elliotte is probably right, we identified this core as the group that could get it done and signed them long term. So it will be difficult to make a lot of moves at the deadline.

What pisses me off is for the most part the Flames take it. Hammer that Hobo back who cars if you get a penalty, probably going to get called anyway for phantom stuff.

Somehow I haven't seen Lindholm in the offensive zone once so far in this game. WTF is going on? Even Lindholm, the rock that stood against the tide of suck has even succumb to the flood of no GAF.

For all the “Monahan defaults to Johnny” complaints, Lindholm sure didn’t carry the puck at all. Tkachuk passed to Gaudreau a lot through the neutral zone, way over on the LW boards as usual, with the same result as before - a loss of the puck at the opposing blue line.

He had at least 4 opportunities to keep the puck deep but instead he just peeled off and the forcheck died ....
I'm seriously done watching Gaudreau absolutely bail on his line mates night after night.
It's always, flake off at the first signed 9f tight coverage or just half hearted efforts at back checking or just nothing it anything is going on at the boards.
I'm watching, focused on all of that and its frankly so disheartening. Can't be Johnny hockey if you're flowing at 50 percent .
