I can't say I noticed you were gone as I was on hiatus for about 10 weeks, but it's good to know you're back. You're one of probably about a dozen posters who I think are a Calgarypuck fixture.

Don't you mean [cue outrageous Scottish accent] Irn Bru? "Made in Scotland from girders"
Always loved that drink growing up.
I've never had WCKD. There's no way the Scots would call that a cooler though. They would never make such a thing!!!!

Quick question: Do you really enjoy all of this attention, Jordon? Fancy having two threads with so much 'much ado about nothing'

it would be too perfect if my name was Dan, it's my father's name, but alas not mine.
and I've been known to have the "occasional" drink from time to time.

When I was a kid Cape Breton Beverages (bottlers of Pepsi and Pepsi products) used to make "Cape Breton's Iron Brew" I liked it from time to time, it was my little bro's favourite. Unfortuantely they don't make it anymore.

Jordan, this is pathetic. Making a good bye thread was pathetic in the first place, but coming back a few weeks later is even worse.

Nice one Jake. We all knew when he left, that he'd be back. He's on CP-crack like the rest of us. He was a long-time poster who needed a break. He over-estimated how long that break would be, but I think he should be welcomed back.
I started this thread and that was the reasoning behind it. I would do the same for anyone else who stirred the pot like he does, and came back after an absence. The point of the thread is to welcome back a good member of CP, not to attack him more than before.

If you need to actually take a break from an internet message board, you are taking things way too seriously.
And if you truly did need a break without the "stress of calgarypuck", why would you start a thread and within that thread admit that you would still be reading the forums?
Wouldn't you just leave quietly, and refrain from even reading the boards if it was ruining your life?
(When I say you, I don't mean you REDVAN)

The stress of Calgarypuck?
Totally. I'm going grey and constantly squeezing one of those stress balls while reading things on here.
Some people take things way too seriously.

I love how a couple of you are just making these assumptions like "CP Stress" Hilarious.
I do get into heated debates that **** me off a little, but that's the extent. I just needed some time off due to real life stresses. Coming to CP during that period of time and getting harassed (You can't deny it) for the smallest **** ever would make you consider taking a break would it not?
At the time I made my departure thread, I really thought I'd be gone for good but as Redvan said... this place is too entertaining to give up completely. That's a credit to the community. Even the #######s on the site.
Especially when you sit behind a monitor almost all day doing school work, CP is a good break. One thing I did learn during my hiatus through observation is not to take the #######s seriously...
People say I look for attention? Not in the least... those who bash me are looking for attention because they obviously know I'm the life of this message board... C'mon do yourselves a favor and admit it!
