Yes it was the best we went to so far today. Much preferred the reds at Painted Rock to Bench 1775. Both places have stunning views. Couldn't get into Poplar Grove, they were booked solid and don't take walk ins.

Wild Goose and Noble Ridge later this afternoon.

Stopped for lunch and Cannery Brewing which is excellent. Would stop there again.

Golf tomorrow with the wife then hitting See Ya Later and Quinta Ferreira on the way to Osoyoos.

I really liked the Wild Goose sauv blanc. And I really hate saving blanc.

Noble Ridge wins today. Walked out with the 2014 Meritage and the 2017 Cabernet.

Wild Goose wasn't my jam, bit the wife grabbed a couple bottles of the Reisling.

Reservations are an absolute must as most places aren't taking walk-ins. Having a hard time booking for next weekend.

I've probably driven past that winery a hundred times and never stopped in. Glad to hear you liked it, looks beautiful there too. I've hit a bunch of wineries in Oliver, Osoyoos and Naramata over the years, looks like I need to spend some time touring around OK Falls.

We are going to Liquidity and See Ya Later Ranch tomorrow, will report back.

Definitely recommend Stag's Hollow and Noble Ridge.

I'm barely a novice at this, so ymmv.

Lean towards Reds over Whites, so squiggs' suggestions are on point.

Presented without context, here's my favourite pic of me at Painted Rock from a few years ago. As I said above, it's easily the best view.

Had our tour today. Can not say enough positive things about Reg and what he did for us.

Fantastic hospitality, made us feel welcome and had information and stories and anecdotes the whole way.

He’s just starting out with this, and deserves all the referalls I can get him. Book while you can and while he’s new, this is a premium experience for a reasonable price.

10/10

Heading to Osoyoos next week. Hoping they get some rain to help out with the fires.

Be sure to stop in Oliver and get a mind blowing burrito at this place

El Sabor De Marina

It's a road side stand, it's busy and it's so excellent.

Two years ago in Kelowna we found a company that sends you a driver. They drive your group in your vehicle at your pace. You choose the area and they also make suggestions. We did lake county north of Kelowna. Grey monk among others. We got up 7 wineries in four hours. Doing things on your pace is the way to do it.

This is good advice. Pacing is definitely a good idea.

While the wine tours are an absolute blast, we have found that it's best to limit to 2 or 3 wineries in a day. I find I can't taste the difference after the 4th or 5th place and then can't really remember which wineries we went to for 6 and 7.

Looked to be closed when I drove by today.

If anyone like Whites, give Four Shadows a try. Their Resilings are legit.

Little Engine is really, really good.

The outdoor tasting area is absolutely fantabulous. Had the place to ourselves and a super friendly server. A nice touch was that the served the Gold and Silver Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Merlot side by side.

I'm a blend guy so left with the 2019 Union. The Merlot was the best single varietal.

You shut your mouth about this place. It’s already busy enough. Every time I go there, the line up is longer. This stand should be treated like Fight Club.

Yeah, come to think about it, it wasn't worth mentioning at all.

Patio at Nk'Mip Cellars. Do not skip this place.

Food is excellent. Views are second to none.
