Iginla should have done the same thing to Cooke in the slot as he did to Morrison at the line.

Clothesline everybody. The whistles were put away that last 30.

Yep. The play should’ve been called for the debris on the ice. Then the penalty should’ve been called for the slash on Iggy. Hockey gods understood those egregious errors and made it right.

Was at the pub during this game and everyone still celebrating when Gelinas scored in OT. Place went so quiet so fast.

What a ridiculous sequence that was. Sweater gets throw on the ice by some jackass Nucks fan, Iggy trips over his own stick, and they end up scoring.

Great effort by Naslund though.

The sneaky spin by Iggy as he picks up the puck off the boards has always been my favourite part of the OT goal.

As he does it he blew past Ohlund and immediately had a 3 on 1 down low. What a play.

Man, the Flames just weren't gonna be denied on that winning goal. Seemed like every Flame on the ice got a whack at it before Gelinas put it in.

When they won that series, that was pretty much my Stanley Cup. I hated the Nucks so much back then, so beating them was so incredibly delicious (and in their own barn no less). I remember thinking the Flames would likely get destroyed by Detroit, and I was ok with that. Little did I know...
