Ugh I was at that game in Toronto.

Gio scored his first 2 goals in it as well!

Kent only had 49 in his first season in Calgary. It was Lanny in 83 with 66 goals.

If TJ Brodie leaves the Flames this summer I'll be pretty disappointed but I'll also be hopeful that Matt Tkachuk changes numbers to his dad's old #7. What a great number for a forward.

In the spirit of that: the Calgary Flames have had 11 forwards wear #7. Who are they?

Only one Swedish-born player has ever scored 50 goals in one season in the NHL. The Swedish Hockey League's equivalent of the Rocket Richard Trophy is also named in this player's honour... Name him.

I remember Guy Chouinard switching from #16 to #7 for his last season with the team.

Joey Mullen, obviously, the best forward to wear #7 for the Flames.

That's 2. Most of the other players who come to mind were d-men.

Those are five. Six more. Hints for each:

- One of these players attended Iginla's jersey retirement ceremony
- One of these players more prominently wore 26 and, almost a decade later, 25 with the Flames
- One of these players has a last name that would fit in an office
- One of these players later became teammates with Jeff Halpern and Jeff Schultz
- One of these players has a last name that would fit on the outside of a house
- One of these players shares a last name with a current NHL GM in the Eastern Conference, but not from any of the teams in the old Southeast Division

I'm amazed you didn't get the first one. All the rest are correct.

Very good, yes indeed it was two-time Cup winner Chris Dingman.

Which of these former Flames did not play at one point with the Toronto Maple Leafs? There is more than one correct answer.

- Trevor Kidd
- Phil Housley
- Rick Wamsley
- Gary Roberts
- Curtis Glencross
- Joe Nieuwendyk
- Grant Fuhr
- Steve Smith
- Dallas Eakins
- Mike Bullard
- Craig Coxe
- Steve Staios
- Olli Jokinen
- Paul Ranheim
- Owen Nolan
- Matthew Lombardi
- Brendan Mikkelson
- Fredrik Modin
- Brandon Prust
- Joey MacDonald
- Brian Boucher

Yep Housley and Glencross don't score points. Housley played a little bit with Toronto right at the tail end of his career and Glencross was a PTO. Smith is correct.

By my count there are five more.

Answer is Theo. But I remember this game for some odd reason. Nieuwendyk scores two shorties to give the Flames a 2-0 lead. Jets score 2 on the PP for a final score of 2-2. I think I remember because the PBP mentioned all four goals in the game were scored on the Jets PP. and that stuck with me for some reason.
