Kept referring to something other than his city of employment as "Big D"?

Thoughtcrime or Sexcrime. Don't worry, it will be tortured out of him in Room 101.

Rumor has it he's up for the job of head scout of the Rangers.

I was just talking it over with a buddy and I wonder how long it'll be before teams start doing this with players more. The kings did it with Richards but I wonder when someone with a bad contract does something and the team turns on them.
I'm in no way saying that whatever Montgomery doesn't warrant him being let go because I have no idea what he did (I too am guessing it's sex related).

All very strange.

I don't think the stars should say a darn thing. not our business, and none of us need to know. we were given enough to know that it had nothing to do with "what has happened recently"
also, what Makarov said.

EGAD! These people should be gut shot and lit on fire in a parking lot.
(Or some other suitable punishment )

Jim Montgomery used the owner's restrooms.
Number two.
Twice.
Didn't flush either time.

Crazy to think that 4 coaches have been fired this season and three of them all had great records with their own team.
Babcock: .557 points percentage
Peters: .614 points percentage
Montgomery: .575 points percentage
I think that is the key to all this. It's not just coaches that were performing poorly that are facing the "culture change", it's actually guys that were having some level of success.

Something like that.
- not Stars related (so rules out office romance).
- not player related (rules out the current movement).
- not criminal related (rules out drugs/prostitutes/dui).
Investigation was predicated on a call received by Nill on Sunday, based on events that happened a few days prior.
What is there really that is considered unprofessional conduct severe enough to lose your job that doesn't fall into the above categories?
- Divorce/affair (no).
- Domestic (potential criminality, so no).
Addiction/gambling would be the somewhat logical conclusion here.
