Litterally noone would disagree with most of what you just said, but that post is one seriously crappy way to celebrate the team finally grinding out a victory and snapping a terrible losing streak.
Ill celebrate some consecutive convincing wins.
The win today is nothing to celebrate and was a miracle to say the least. The team showed zero urgency until 2 mins left...kind of like they've done all year long.
Rittich looks good. That is all.

Yeah, sure. But this win counts as much as any other win, and if we somehow end up making the playoffs, or a divisional spot, or even claim the division by a point at the end of the year, this win will prove to be a difference maker. But you don’t seem to think that snapping a losing streak is a good thing, so I suppose I'll rest my case.

The positive is once they went down late in the third they battled back. To me that shows they haven't given up. After losing 6 it could have been real easy to throw in the towel.

Flames had no business winning that game. Lucky to get any points. Hard to believe the players take any positives from that game. That was horrible to watch, especially from a team that you might consider desperate.
Johnny and Mony need a demotion or to sit in the press box. Top line should be Tkachuk-Lindholm-Mangiapane.

This team desperately needed a couple of lucky bounces and they got them this game. lets hope it's a start of something bigger.

Snapping a losing streak is good. Just didn't see anything to be optimistic about.
I thought they had a very solid 3rd period after a horrific 2nd. It would have been easy to pack it in after the 2nd but they actually had some pushback. That has to count for something.
Im having my coffee with a hockey game this feels wrong

1pm start, guess I better start drinking now.

Ah classic 11am start time. This is Flyers hockey

This is such a stupid ****ing time to start a hockey game. Happy for @kudymen and our other Europeans, though.

Said it awhile back, AV seems to be seeing what the team can do without Ghost.
Could very well be a mandate from Fletch also.
A trade would not suprise me at this point
Quote:
Ghost has not been playing great, but Ghosts absolute worst >>>>>> Hogg’s best.
Horrible decision if he’s healthy, and if he is, you have to wonder what his future is. This is beyond stupid now.
Quote:
wow...just saw.
Dumb dumb
Quote:
Hagg over Ghost? Seriously? I love how Braun routinely ****s up but always gets a pass or even worse is rewarded with more ice time for his **** play. This is Hak levels of stupidity. It's going to be hilarious when we trade ghost for scraps and he goes back to being a 50+ point defenseman.
Quote:
Scratching Ghost for Hagg is just straight up clown ****.
**** off.
Quote:
It would be funny if the "hive" would be patting themselves on their backs for
calling up Frost
calling up Parable
putting G on the wing
putting Couts in a more offensive position
pushing Hägg down the lineup
...
as much as one guy pats himself for one damn scratch after calling him a goner for a year.
Quote:
First game in 2 some years that I won’t watch because of the stupid ****ing decision to play Hagg over Ghost. Idc that Ghost hasn’t been great.
Never dress a worse lineup to send a message especially with the way this team has played. Makes me mad and frustrated.
3 minutes in and Hagg and Braun have messed up once each.
Quote:
Hagg has never seen an opportunity for a hit he wouldn’t take, even when the option to play a loose puck is staring him in the face.

Guys I really want Johnny Hockey on our team.

Would love Johnny Hockey here. I don’t think they ever make a move in season with him but I’ve been surprised before.
Just need to come out and dominate. This is a team that is falling apart. Take it to them early. Jump on them to give them no confidence to try and steal a game.

So when we kidnapping Johnny Hockey?

Gritty clearing prepping Johnny's kidnapping hence why we havent seen him

I'm scared of Hagg and Rinaldo hitting each other. The sheer HEAVINESS of such a collision could cause the very fabric of the universe to unravel.

Of course Flyers with no finish in ot just like the Caps.

It’s almost like the Flyers were trying to lose in the shootout.
1st attempt: No speed and weak floating wrister

3rd attempt: No speed and weak wrister

SERIOUSLY? After a win, that's all you have? JESUS!!!! Can't even get some positive energy.

This is the exact way this losing streak would end IMO; a gritty, ugly win where they do just enough to claw out a win. Anyone who thought these guys would Globe-Trotter a game to an easy win after the abysmal hockey they have been playing, THAT would have been a miracle. There was some relief and joy on that bench and all the guys on the ice with Rittich at the end.
Do they have work to do to improve their team game? Of course they do! Their game was not going to turn on a dime and they'd be flying out there. Do I want to see them get to that point? No doubt. Keep working hard and make your own luck out there boys. I'm damn happy they won. Build on this one.
Go Flames Go!
