The goal was caused by Talbot allowing a micro-rebound and not covering, and not being strong along the ice. His position is generally good, but his style causes little rebounds, which are acceptable if he grabs them.

Gritty/borderline play in the D zone is better than in the O zone IMO. And he takes far fewer than Bennett.

No they weren’t.
They came out of the gate like total crap. Dallas controlled right from the start of the period even though we were on the PP.
Shots are 21-11. Good grief Flames. Pathetic.

A line of Lucic-Jankowski-Rieder is a really stupid idea. What are they even suppose to do? Three guys with zero ability to score. Never been a fan of that kind of left-over lines.

Miss the half breakaway that Tkachuk had?
After he just missed the Stars has a chance. Flames only had one other entry into the zone on the PP, as it was only a minute long.
Next shift Bennett took the penalty.
