I missed the game. Only listened to the last 20 seconds of the OT and the shootout on the radio. This is what I heard when I turned it on:
"...and the Czech tells the big Russian "NO,NO,NO,NO,NO, NO, NO!"... so... I figure, the game was exciting, was it?

Noticed a few times Lucic using is body on the side boards to get possession in the D zone. That there is why he is more valuable to us than Neal.

Did anyone think Gio looked like he was hurting in overtime? He's probably going to have some sore ribs tomorrow.

Hanifin has raised his game to another level, awesome to watch. Big 2 points in a tough building to win in. Dallas is an unreal team

I feel like they’ve looked average to poor for maybe 75% of their games so far so to still be 2-1-1 is great. Lots to clean up still but we haven’t seen anywhere near their best yet.

I would take that right now for the remainder of this road trip

That thud you hear is the trade value dropping of Frolik and especially Jankowski.
Treliving needed to sell high in the offseason based on his 5 SHG and BT knew it. Now he’s the same useless 5 on 5 guy, and looking dreadful SH defensively. That’s 4 goals this season that with just a bit more smarts or effort or positioning, a good pk’er would stop the passes across (Colorado 2 cross ice passes as he looks the other way, Kings OT goal same thing, and tonight, a lazy play back and a feeble attempt at a stick check on the 2-0 goal).
Frolik has shown he has done something in this league consistently, Jankowski hasn’t. Bennett can’t be that far away either from the Flames exploring returns for him and his toe drags that worked in junior.

Lots of negativity here considering a win in Dallas. I thought the Flames were solid for most of that game. Definitely the better team up until penalties caught the Stars up. Bishop was keeping them in in the first 10 minutes.

Happy the Flames stole a point.
The bottom 6 is a tire fire.
Really miss Hathaway right now.
Ryan has been neutralized by awful wingers.
How long until they call the farm?

Wish I could've watched this game, listened to it on the radio instead. Sounds like and exciting overtime
