Because he just came back from an 'upper body' injury that had him out for like 6 games and he will be integral to the Flames making noise in the playoffs?

And Bennett was removed from the game. The issue to me is not whether or not players rush themselves back from concussions. They're adults, and at this point in our history, they know what the potential ramifications are.
It becomes a problem when the coaches, the trainers, and everyone the player relies on to give him good information tell him to shake it off and finish the game.
Bennett probably shouldn't play until the playoffs. If I were a doctor, and knowing what I know as a layman about concussions, I'd say take as much time as possible.
But I also have to acknowledge this is hockey, and this is a sport where Patrice Bergeron played for a month+ with a collapsed lung. So if Sam Bennett wants to take the next week off and then say it's go time when the bell sounds for round 1, who am I to argue?

I would worry more about the hit that caused it there was no contact to the head at all and I didnt see Bennett hit his head on the ice what would have caused the bambi legs?

I disagree, the first movement of Bennett's body following contact was upward and backward movement of the head, exactly the opposite of what you would see if the contact was with the chest, arms or shoulders. Looked like an uppercut to the chin, most likely an elbow. Having said that, any impact that causes sudden movement of the head can cause a concussion, even if the head was not the initial point of contact.

I didnt see it in the hit but regardless I wouldn't play Bennett again in the regular season he needs to rest and recover

But if he’s fine and he’s cleared by all of the reasonable means of assessment, why sit him? How do you know what his upper body injury was? If you simply think we should rest him purely to be extra cautious, that’s fine. But if he’s deemed healthy by every metric of assessment we have, it makes no sense to claim that he’s actually injured and shouldn’t play. It’s no way to make decisions.

When a guy misses 7 of his last 8 games with an 'upper body' injury, and then leaves his second game back with another 'upper body' injury, then yeah, I think it's an indication you should sit him until you're playing important games again.

I just worry that his last upper body injury could have also contributed to his reaction after that hit there is no reason to play him even if he is cleared

Even if those injuries are unrelated? I see no reason to if that is the case.

I'd prefer to have him sit and completely heal, until at least game 1 of the playoffs. He can get up to speed against the Avs.

Just like not every smaller hit is automatically not a concussion, every big hit isn't automatically one either.
I'll go with what the doctors say

The coaches probably want him to play because they are concerned that the third line will go cold when the games start to matter.
They are clicking right now so the answer isn’t give them 9 days of rest to cool down

Some speculation here, but I saw a proud pro who got the wind knocked out of him something fierce and tried to calmly get up and get the number of the train that ran him over. No lying on the ice, no drama - he knew it was a clean hit and just tried to get up and get back to the bench before he could catch his breath. (praying I'm right and that Benny is okay)

No way that was the wind knocked out of him he didnt even know where his bench was after he got up the only time I've been like that is when I was knocked out cold after slamming my head onto the ground in a soccer game
