I’ve taken multiple deep breaths into this paper bag. And it’s not helping.

If the last 4 games have shown us that the previous 60 some games didn’t is that this young core is no good. Wish they would have shown us these 4 games before deadline day so BT could have realized we were sellers. Can’t believe we’ll need to start another rebuild again next year. Oh well, Flames gonna Flame and things of this nature.

We can't get Leprechaun Luck when he isn't even on the damn bench.
I think James Neal is dealing with some type of off ice issue. I have no evidence to support this and I haven’t heard that said yet. Nobody can seem to decide if it’s upper body, lower body and he has been nowhere to be seen around the team facilities. Sounds like there’s more to the story. I hope he comes back and turns back into the James Neal we were all thrilled to sign this offseason.

I said it that day and i'll say it again, this team needed to add speed upfront at the deadline to have any chance in the playoffs. They look slow, lethargic and weak. We saw the same story last year. BIG warning sign the team is not good enough yet that this is how they appear in playoff type hard checking hockey.

I have to give every loyal Flames fan credit though (myself included), to continue to cheer for a team that has been the definition of mediocrity and is notorious for never winning in the clutch, we sure are a loyal bunch.

We are in some serious trouble come playoff time, regardless of how the Flames end the season against some bottom tier teams.

I see your user name in the PGT's whenever we lose, but I just checked your post history and you haven't posted after a win since 2017.

I don't know how the Flames will do in the playoffs...but I guarantee we won't be talking about tonight's game in a months time

They played Vegas even on the road last night, hope they can beat them on Sunday.

When they lose to Vegas, I look forward to reading your posts talking about how everything is fine and there's no reason for concern.

Dude we get your position already. I think folks are concerned that as games are getting harder this time of year, the flames seem to have no answer.

Is it just coincidence that their slump is coming when things are tightening up, or is it related to the team's ability to persevere? Who know! Clearly you think it's just a slump, good for you.

Others are worried that perhaps the team does not have the extra gear to win at this time of year.

To each his/her own, quit with the sarcastic monologues already

For two years now I've seen Vegas and Arizona on the schedule and thought "hmm... that would be a pretty nice vacation to get some sun and watch the Flames on the road". Probably a good thing I haven't pulled the trigger on that one yet.

Actually, I had a sickening thought of playing Vegas in the first round and them being our new Anaheim, complete with Honda Centre curse. I'll see myself out now.

Prior point taken.

I hope they're just resting the poor guy up under the guise of a minor injury.

I've said this before and I'll say it again, the guy has played UNTIL JUNE two years in a row. Think about that, 31 years old and going to the cup final back-to-back while all your current (and mostly under 25!) teammates were golfing by April those past years. This is why I've never ripped on the guy for struggling, I honestly think he's just ####ing exhausted. Hope he comes back and is the clutch Real Deal we need in the playoffs.

Hey cut me some slack. I’ve been cheering for this team for decades and they’ve never been so disappointing as they are right now. It’s the worst time to be a Flames fan so maybe I’m a little rilled up. The Flames went into the night in first place and will still be in first place when it ends, can’t you see how devastating that is?

Why are you even here? you speak in absolutes...you know the season is over so stop wasting your time

I hope I don't see you here on Sunday because that means the Flames won

Is it upsetting? Maybe a little.

But glass half full is that almost every decent offensive weapon the flames have is struggling and the flames are still playing decent hockey. It's pretty unlikely that all of lindholm, backlund, Johnny, Monahan and tkachuk will continue to play poorly.

I can’t believe anyone uses back to back as an excuse for losing.

Teams play back to back all time, and good teams can win them.
