So far Perry is winning the d-bag contest. Tkachuk will need to pick up his game in the 2nd if he wants to match him.
Flames weren't sharp at all to start this game, but thankfully they got much better as the period wore on. Czarnik and Bennett were beasts in that period. 1st line was pretty invisible. We're gonna need a lot more from those guys if we want the 2 points tonight.
Smith has been great so far. Pretty much kept us in it early in the period.

Ryan is the barometer I use for Flames fans lately.
Guy in front of me hates him. Dumb fan.

Decent period. We should probably be up 2 if we were a little sharper.
I know he’s playing with Prout, but my god Brodie sucks without riding Giordano’s coat tail. If we need to clear some cap and make room for those young guys, I think the answer is obvious.

That back check was a thing of beauty. It should be the default instructional video in every hockey school moving forward.

I love them both, but Johnny and Chucky both need a little more pep to their game when things don't go their way.
Johnny streaking for the breakaway pass that got blocked goes offsides and didn't take a stride to tag up in time for Gio who was streaking in with the reclaimed puck.
Noticed that Chucky saunters off with 0 urgency for a line change while the right D was back peddling with the puck waiting for a pass option. If Chucky changes quickly the replacement can help in time. Those slow line changes always piss me off, comes across as a little lazy, or at least oblivious.

Why does the in game sounds make me feel like I’m watching this at cruising altitude?
Keep trying to pop my ears to make it go away.

Did 3M get reunited or did I just see mid change? I think Lindholm back up to top line could be the right spark for this game
