good to know the NHL is taking penalties against head shots seriously.

McDavid deliberately targeted Leddy because he was angry... no place for that, regardless of the talent of the player.

I'm okay with two games, the league needs to work on reducing these types of hits. Intentional or accidental - there needs to be punishment of some sort.

Good on Barry Trotz if that is what he did, it's the right thing to do. Concussion protocol should not be optional or based on an opinion as to whether it's warranted. It needs to be mandatory. I don't know how you make it so but there needs to be a way where potential bias is taken out of the decision making.

Oilers twitter is crying about it.

Really not sure why they are suprised - two games has been the penalty all season. Erik Karlsson got that suspension, why wouldn't McDavid.

My question to the Islanders is this, why was there no one to come to Leddy's defense? Why McCheapshot didn't need to fight someone?
